LaVolta Events Ltd. Booking Policy 2022/2023
Workshop Bookings
LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. does not provide drop-in classes for children and young people. All workshops must be booked in advance through www.lavoltaevents.co.uk
New students may join workshops subject to availability and authorisation of the students current School Principal.
If there are no spaces on a requested workshop when booking then LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. will aim to provide an alternative option where possible.
Waiting List
Members on the waiting list will be contacted in order of the list. If members are unavailable no message will be left. The next member will be contacted and the first to make contact will receive the place.
Priority Booking
A priority booking period for students in our Let’s Keep Dancing! Facebook group will take place for 24 hours before any general booking opens. Those wishing to participate should register during the priority booking period to secure their places.
Where possible LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. will aim to let people know of any changes in venue or class time at least one week ahead of schedule.
Payments
Full payment must be received in advance to confirm a place for any of our workshops , online events or programmes. Please see individual Information Packs for our LIVE competitions and festivals.
Late payments fees, subject to 4% of the invoice total will be added to any unpaid invoices of 7 or more days. This will continue to be incurred every 14 days thereafter.
Cancellation
Occasionally some events and workshops may be cancelled due to circumstances beyond LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. control. If we are unable to produce an event due to circumstances out of our control, any fees paid will be held as company credit and will be transferred to a future event.
LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. reserves the right to cancel an event or workshop due to unforeseen circumstances.
Refunds
LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. cannot offer a refund if you voluntarily do not attend events or workshops.
LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. reserve the right to make a £5 administration charge (taken from the original payment and consequently refund amount) to cover administration costs.
Please note that Spectator Fees for any of our events are non-refundable and Entry Fees are subject to each individual events Cancellation Policy.

External Bookings Refunds
Where LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. uses a third party company for any of our events, refunds will be subject to each events specific cancellation policy, however, monies paid will be held as COMPANY CREDIT to be used at future events.
Issues beyond the control of LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. will be dealt with as quickly as possible, however, please be aware that time frames due to unforeseen issues may be amended accordingly as and when required. We reserve the right to retain any reasonable administration charges in the event of a cancellation by a third party company. Company Credit (as per our standard T&Cs) will be issued in the event of an event transfer/cancellation.
Booking Software
As we use external booking softwares here at LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd., refunds will be subject to each individual providers T&Cs regarding timeframes. STRIPE can take up to 10 working days and PAYPAL can take up to 10 working days. These timeframes are beyond the control of LaVolta’s Dance Events Ltd. Fees paid to third party booking softwares will not be refunded (as per our standard T&Cs).
